Geek Pride Day in Pictures

Last week, we wrote a blog post about how a few of the VPS tech team were preparing for a Geek Pride Day party.

The event took place on Saturday. Now that the crumbs of the Wookiee cookies have been hoovered up from the carpets and the giant slide has been deflated, here’s a roundup of what went on…

“It was a blast,” says organiser Cody Erekson. “In all, we had about 40 guests. The giant slide was a huge hit. There were some fantastic food entries; the creativity was mind-boggling! Of course, the highlight was the raffle for the Raspberry Pi. The winner was my neighbor who intends to have her 4-year old daughter begin learning how to program with it!”
